windows\/fa\u00e7ade.<\/li><li>Maintenance costs are rising with every passing year.<\/li><li>Due to the building pollutants, renovations in the flats entail high costs and, if carried out while the flats are occupied, pose health risks for the tenants.<\/li><li>Some of the water and sewage pipes are damaged and need to be replaced, which involves breaking through walls.<\/li><li>The power supply supply will be reorganised.<\/li><li>The building&#8217;s interior will be fitted out to contemporary standards.<\/li><li>Communal green spaces will be created, and sealed surfaces and parking spaces extensive structural work is required on the building fabric, it is not possible to carry out renovation work while the building is still occupied. This is also because work involving hazardous substances will be carried out in the building during the renovation, which poses health risks.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that all existing tenancies will inevitably have to be terminated by 30 April 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p>We deeply regret this step and are aware that the termination will have significant consequences for tenants. That is why we offer all tenants the option of extending their tenancy beyond the regular termination date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By signing and returning an <strong>extension agreement<\/strong> by 15 December 2025, the tenancy can be continued for a fixed term until 30 June 2027 at the latest. If no extension is agreed, the tenancy will end on 30 April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p>By signing the extension agreement, the tenant confirms to the owner that they will vacate the flat by 30 June 2027 without any further legal claims. In return, the owner grants the tenant 14 months to find a new flat. It also gives the tenant the right to leave the flat at short notice (within one month) without incurring any costs.
